having to reset TCP/IP stack constantly??

this just recently started happening.. I can use my messengers but not surf. if I go into the command prompt and type:

netsh int ip reset tcplog.txt

and reboot, then everything ok until the next day.

something must be changing my settings? spyware? what can I do??

Exactly. Try scanning for spyware.

There are several good programs to do this automatically for you. A small list is:

Spybot
Ad-Aware
Microsoft's Defender
CounterSpy - Two Week full version

Usually I get the updates, reboot, and scan in safe mode.
