Hey Folks,

I am fixing a computer for a friend, new motherboard and such, well its all going well til I formatted his 160GB hard drive, only after it formatted only had 32GB of space.

Never heard of this type of thing before.

Any help, would be appreciated and I thank you for your help in advance

Sounds like you may have created a 32GB partition on the 160 GB HDD partition during the formatting process. Try it again and see if there is an option to set the partition size.

Alternatively, Go ahead and install windows, then resize the partition. This alternative can be done with a great free tool called Easeus Partition Manager. Just click the link and download it. Easy and simple to use.
