Hello

My motherboard died it was an Asus P5n32 Sli SE Deluxe and now i want to recover the data from my Hard drivers the problem is, both were Raid 0. Is it possible to mount these Hard drives using a Sata Controller in an old Computer (Dell Dimension 8300)? if this is possible, which Sata Controller do i need? At the moment, to recover the information its crucial and yes the Hard Drives are ok

Specs:

x8600 2.93
Asus P5n32 Sli Deluxe (R.I.P)
2gb ddr2 ram
2 x Raptor 150 gb, 10000 rpm,
SB X-fi

Thanks in advance
Otto

Oooo. It doesn’t look promising. IF. Big if, you replaced your motherboard with the exact
Same model, you possibly could recreate the RAID 0 stripe “IF” the Raid controller is the same, If, the drives are plugged in in the same order. If, the controller allows for a rebuild. A lot of “ifs”. I’ll not even go into the drawbacks of RAID 0.
