Hard drive fell off radar

I have a 60GB HD that went weird after I interrupted a partition resize. It stopped being recognized by the BIOS. It spins okay, no noise; just won't be seen (have tried on different machines--clearly the drive at fault). Any suggestions on how to recover this drive without spending more than the drive is worth? (It seems mechanically sound and I have places I could use it.) I've tried Hitachi's drive utility, Seagate SeaTools, Gibson Spinrite, Partition Commander (none will see drive).

Partition resizing was being done with Partition Commander.

This has happened to me before, sadly unless it is under warranty, there really is no bringing it back, just buy a new drive.
