I used to play guildwars alot but I stopped playing at the beggining of summer. I decided to start playing again recently so I tried to log in. I stay at the "connecting...." screen thing forever. Anyone know how to fix this?

Do you have any firewalls or anti virus programs installed now that you didn't before? Try turning them off before you play - if it works, then they are blocking you from playing.

I tried to disabling the firewall and now it works TY!!!! =)

I'm willing to bet you use zonealarm..

i had the exact same problem yesterday when trying to connect to battle.net. Turns out that ZA doesnt have the "authority" to shrink down a fullscreen program to alert you to an access request.. heh, i spent 30 mins trying to work it out before i closed the prog and noticed the dialogue box...
