Long story short, I bought a Griffin PowerMate today. I brought it home, and plugged it into my Windows XP computer, and installed the drivers. No dice. I've tried everything, from the Device Manager, to unplugging all human interface devices and plugging in the PowerMate. How can I make this damn thing work?

Griffin doesn't have 64-bit drivers for the powermate, so if you're running xp64 or vista, no dice as you say. You should be able to get the blue light on, and it should be recognized as a HID - which will allow you to slowly move the mouse cursor left and right.

Bug them for support. Ah if only it was open source.
