So, my brother opened the computer about a few days ago (I don't even remember what he was trying to do) and apparently, he accidentaly moved the VGA card (GeForce, a pretty recent one). It still perfectly fits the motherboard and there appears to have no damage on it.
Green and purple stripes appeared across the screen when Windows launched: even on the BIOS image of the pc starting, we can see squares flickering with grey/white.
We put a small cardboard box under the VGA card to slightly tilt it upwards. No more disturbances for a few days, but now, even when we try to slightly force it there are stripes. As for the games, their graphics are messed up beyond description - triangles stretching from the center of the screen to corners, stripes, geometrical figures...
So, anyone know how to fix this ?
Thanks in advance.
