GPT Header Corruption

3920 Views 6 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  ChristianMingle
Hello, The only way to start my PC is to unplug my 2 External Harddrives. If i dont do this, i get a GPT Header corruption error. I have tried changing boot order, turning on/off legacy support, and a ton of other fixes, but always the same thing. How can i make it so that windows doesnt even know that my USB storage devices exist until AFTER i boot?
I have attached a photo of the error. I know that unplugging my harddrives is a "quick fix" and works, but its extremely annoying and often makes me leave my pc on for weeks at a time, which i want to avoid because i have encrypted my boot drive for security, which is useless if i dont turn off my pc after each use(or atleast hibernate it)

yes, is does nothing. Just keeps giving the same error over and over even after it repairs.
Then the solution is to keep the external drives unplugged until after the computer boots.
