I Have not used Group Policy before - and was asked to remove accsess to the internet, i did it by altering details on the connection page and then removing the connection page. however now on the winxp/pro machine i need to put the internet back on - Admin 2 the copmuter works fine / other users on the mahine work fine, but the user andrew cannot change or view the connection page like i wanted but now i want 2 change this ?????????? i used mmc snap-inns to achinve this over a 2kserver network

Assuming you used GPO through Active Directory, just remove the bogus connection info you set. On the client side, do the following:

Click Start
Click RUN
Type secedit \refreshpolicy user_policy
Type secedit \refreshpolicy machine_policy

Then reboot the machine just to be safe.

That should solve your problem.
