The latest updated version 132.0.6834.111 has taken my 2 rows of shortcuts back to a single row. I had fixed it once before, but now I can't find that fix. When I google search everything is reference back to April 2024 and those suggestions don't seem to have the same NTP files as this new version has.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Danny

Go to Chrome://flags.
In the search bar, type 'NTP Single row,' and it will be the first result.
Click on the dropdown menu next to it and select 'DISABLE.'
Afterward, click the 'Relaunch' button.

If that flag "Single row" is no longer there. TRY enabling "unexpire 129" and "unexpire" 128" flags

You should then get the option to enable or disable #ntp-modules-redesigned.

You then disable that ntp and you should have your rows back.

=============
ICannot guarantee it will work but worth a try

There is no ntp single row.
The 1st entries are tempory unexpired 131 and 132. Disabling or enabling them does nothing to change

Are unexpire 129 and 128 there

I hope you will appreciate that you may know they are not, but of course I can only guess if you looked for those

Further to the above I regret to say I have not found a solution
I have now read that as you say 129 and 129 are not there

I presume you do not have this method either
On the new tab page (where your shortcuts are displayed), look for a pencil icon or three dots that usually indicate customization options.
Click on this icon to open the customization settings for your new tab page.
Look for an option related to ‘Shortcuts’ or ‘Most visited sites.’
Within this menu, there might be settings to adjust how many shortcuts are displayed or how they are arranged.
If available, select an option that allows displaying more than one row of shortcuts.

Sorry I cannot help further

How to get back two-line home page shortcuts on Google Chrome
I looked at the Jan 16 2025 post. Prety much the same issue, 128 and 129 are gone. There is no module redesign and there is no single row anything when searching. Seems that all the ideas that are posted on the web refer to versions from August 2024 and earlier. In checking the 'customization' button and the bottom of the page, shortcuts are om for My Shortcuts, but again no option for doing a single row, or in settings for appearance.
