Gliche in Restore?

I recently did a restore on my HP 760n. Running Windows XP. After completing what I thought was a succesful restore I found that some of my shortcuts had become unlinked and some of my personal software needed to be re installed.

Any ideas?

Hi there!

That would be normal behavior.

System restore will UNDO anything that you have added after the restore point.

So, to answer your question...NO, there's not a glitch!
