GIMP keeps crashing

A program that I use a lot, GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program) has now been opening fine, but shortly afterwards I get an error message stating: A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. -Like that's going to happen! I have come across this before, but usually by going to Windows8_OS(C
