Hello,
I recently reformatted my hard drive and reinstalled Windows 98. How do I get rid of the Windows prompt for a password when starting up the computer? I do not remember how I did it in the past.
Thank you,
Barbara

Go to the "Tips And Tricks" section and read the very first sticky article. The registry edit in that article works with both Windows 98/SE and Windows ME.
