GEODisk2 for Windows 98 and Millennium Users.

As someone for whom computer maintenance is as much a pleasure as is all else one can do with a computer I wish to bring to your attention both a website and a freeware tool.

This Forum (TSG) is chock-a-bloc full of computer users whose operating systems are those mentioned above, and who experience a great deal of frustration with the delays which are all too often involved in the basics of maintenance - Disk Cleanup, ScanDisk and Disk Defragmentation.

I have a high regard for people who volunteer their expertise in an effort to aid and assist others who are learning how to best use and understand their computers, and who find themselves in need of help of one kind or another. We are fortunate in having many such experts in this Forum.

There are several freeware tools of this type available. I have used them all. I have no hesitation in recommending GEODisk2. But ultimately the choice is yours to make.
