Generic Host Process for Win32 Services has encountered a problem and needs to close:eek:

I get this message with a prompt to end now...after I end now...toolbar, start menu, and Internet Explorer seem to revert to Win98 display settings, with the old off-white color and generic text fonts..??any ideas as to how to fix my problem or to what the ultimate cause may be?

Thanx

It looks like you've stripped IE8 naked! You're missing quite a few standard entries. Ever had HijackThis "Fix" anything before?

You don't even have an antivirus on your computer!

Let's see what possible nasties you might have on that computer. Download and install the free version of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (this is not an antivirus). Run a Quick Scan with it and have the program delete whatever it finds. Then, please post back the text report.
