Hello all, I was going to purchase Rome Total War and it says your video card must be DirectX 9.0b compatible. I have no idea if mine is compatible I have a Geforce4 mmx 440 64 mb card with latest drivers. I went to nvidias page to see but there is nothing on there to remotely tell me anything like that. Could somebody please let me know if this card will work or what website I could go to to find out. Any help would be greatly appreciated, have a good one !!!

go for it ive been playing games since i was 8 had all the consoles from atari 2600 to xbox and quite openly say its the best game i have ever played you will not have any compatability problems ive got a low quality intergrated graphics chip works fine basicly just changing the settings of graphics quality on total war options menu

Your card is DirectX9 compatible, it doesn't support the special DirectX9 features (you need a GeForce FX for that) but it will still work.
