Gateway GT5692 Only Fan powers on
Hello,
When I power on my Gateway GT5692, the fans start running, the blue light is on and nothing else. The green lights associated with the wireless are also not lighting up. I've checked the monitor by plugging it into my laptop and it fires up right away. The keyboard and mouse also work on another pc as well, but not on this one. I did try going into Safe Mode but since the monitor won't fire up while plugged into the PC, it seemed rather futile. I think it might be either a video card or the motherboard
, but I'm not sure. I would certainly appreciate any advice offered. Here are the specs:
Windows Vista 64-bit Home Premium with SP1
Video- ATI Radeon HD 3200
Optical Drive: Super Multi-Format DVD Rw DL with Label Flash
Memory 4 GB DDR2 Dual Channel
Processor: AMD Phenom 8450 Triple Core
Hard Drive: 500 GB
