I've read all existing posts and none of worked so far...
Upgraded from 7 to 10 a few months ago, all worked fine, decided I want to start fresh so did the reset built into 10, it failed, rebooted computer, it was telling me there was no OS installed. I downloaded the Windows 10 Image from Microsoft put it on a stick reinstalled Windows... Tried my game, and it told me I was missing, msvcp100 msvcr100 DLL's. Put a copy in each system32, syswow64 and game folder. Now the above error, what I have tried...
Net Framework (said I didn't need it so it failed to install)
Checked my version of directx (11.2)
Did a chkdsk
Downloaded the Microsoft C++ redist... X32 and x64
Downloaded xinput1_1, 2, 3, 4 and xinput9_1_0.dll copied all to syswow64 except Xinput1_4, Xinput9_1_0 as its already there and I don't have permission to over right it
Any ideas where to go from here?
