I have a problem that with every game i play they keep minimizing to desktop.Sometimes when i put them back into full screen the screen is all black and i have to restart the computer to get things back to normal.I have updated my drivers and have the latest version of direct x.

Are you sure a program isn't the cause? For example if McAfee "Security Update" pops up it minimises my games...

Try running a game with only the needed processes running. Get rid/close/delete everything out and have a look.

I have tried that i use end it all the close all unnecessary programs and put zonealarm into game mode.

Well I'm just guessing it's related to a program. Try disabling your firewall and/or anti-virus programs (or anything else) offline for a test.

Thanks for your help Gibbs it was my anti-virus program from bulldog.I deleted the program and installed avg instead just played bf2142 for about 2 hours with no minimizing.
