I had a problem with the HDD, and formated and installed windows on a different computer, everything works find on the other computer, but when I moved the HDD to the right computer, this message appear: Reboot and Select proper Boot device or Insert Media in selected Boot device and press a key.

I don't got a clue to how to solve this problem ... why won't windows load? ... Should I maybe re-set the bios?

First of all, it's a SATA HD, so everything was set to master?! And the boot device is a dvd-rom, but changed it to HD now though.

Uhm, when the HDD is supposed to load windows, this message appears: Press <ESC> to boot 6 ... 5 ... 4 ... 3 ... 2 ... 1 ... And after that, another message appears: Reboot and Select proper Boot device or Insert Media in selected Boot device and press a key.

Your problem is clearly evident in the first sentence. You installed Windows on one computer and then connected it to a totally different computer and expected it to boot. It's not that easy. :) Install Windows with the drive in the target computer, you'll have much better luck.

When I put the first hard drive in my second computer, it boots perfectly.
When I put the first hard drive in my new computer, it won't work.

If i try to install windows in my new computer, on my first hard drive, the message I have talked about shows up.

Is it the HD or the motherboard that have some fails in it? Some advise please!

Now I have updated my bios settings. I found out that when I connect my HD to the raid port, the bios finds the HD (but since the disc isn't raid, it's fails to boot) , but when I connect my HD to SATA-port 1, the bios can't find the HD. Any suggestions?

And how can I do a memory test?

Reread the posts is my first suggestion...you need to shut down raid in bios for one thing.

By using the url's John Will suggested at the bottom of his last answer to you.i.e. ""memtest
I am beginning to think you should take this to a shop or import a tech to your home, these kinds of questions really indicate we probably cannot do this for you through a forum, and it is no black mark on you, you just have too little experience to conquer this task and it's not for everyone, believe me.
