Got an old gateway, transfered MB along with all parts to a new case, but when pulling out the front panel connectors, i forgot to take note of what jumpers went where.

So I did some digging and i found the actual tech support article on gateway's site for this MB, but its not really helping me:

http://support.gateway.com/s/MOTHERBD/INTEL/m00264/M0026422.shtml

As you can see, the user for this article shouldn't care where the jumpers go, cause they all go into one "block". (if you are using the Gateway case) But since i switched cases, I know need to figure out what connectors go in what jumpers.

The table below helps, a bit, but it's still not clear where these go :

Power LED : 3 jumper connector
Reset Switch : 2 jumper connector
HD LED: 2 jumper connector
Power switch : 2 jumper connector (only one i really need obviously)

Anyone got ideas?

Much appreciated.

Most motherboars are labled right on it in small print just like in th picture but in some cases the motherboard might no intergate properly with a new case and power supply. but you should be able to try different positions till you find one that works.

First lets go to the HP mobo in a new case. Did you buy a case that is designed for an HP motherboard with the proper power supply that is wired corredtly for an HP Motherboard? If not then you may end up having other problems besides the front panel switch connectors. HP motherboards are usually Proprietary. Meaning they take a power supply designed to be used only by HP systems.
