Hi

My friend is having a little trouble. His computer won't start because he gets an error described Here . When he trys to repair windows, it won't find his HDD. He presses F6 at windows setup, to "install a SCSI or Third Party RAID driver". When he does this it prompts him to enter a floppy he got with his HDD drive. He puts the floppy in, then presses enter, but nothing happens, then it prompts him to end it again. There is no clicking noise coming from the floppy drive, but there is a green light on the front.

Anyone know how to solve this?

Is the hard drive being detected in Bios?

Have you tried not pressing F6?

Thanks, its sorted now. He rung me to tell me he fixed it, don't know how.
