Suddenly my FreeCell won't work. It crashed I think. I use Windows 98 and a window appears saying an error has occurred in my program. Then when I close the window, it says the program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down. Details say something about cards.dll. How can I get FreeCell back?? Thank you.

I have yet to see a FreeCell or Solitaire error that wasn't caused by a progam conflict with something else running. Here is how to tell what that is.

Go offline and do a ctrl-alt-del to open up the Close Programs window. One at a time, 'end task' every program in the window except Explorer and Systray. Test FreeCell after each end-task. When it works, you will know that the last program you end tasked was the culprit.
