When I receive a forward that contains graphics/pictures and I forward it on - some of the recipients that I send it to say all they get is little boxes with red x's instead of the pictures.

I checked in Outlook Express under "tools/options/send" and I have the box marked under "send" HTML format.

What am I doing wrong or is it on the recipients end?

Click the HTML settings button next to 'send' and make sure 'send pictures' is checked.

depends on how many forwards it has been sent through. also depends on if it is an attatchment or from a website. some websites will "discontinue" the use of the picture due to their bandwidth limits.
