This question is the same as lleuadgirl's posting of 3.30.04.
Dreamgirl rresponding with the "times 1" solution. This worked once, but I'm still having trouble calculating (sum) columns. I'ved used this formula many times in the past, but never had this much trouble. In sheet3 of my workbook I set the format of all the cells in column C to "number", then inserted the sum formula and it worked fine, but I could not do it in column B?!?
Too wierd! I did not create this workbook and am wondering if there is an overall setting that is messing things up.
Thanks
