I'm looking for a decent quality, possibly refurbished, 19' flat-panel monitor.

Any suggestions?....anything welcome. If I don't find something I like, I'm going to go with a 19' flat-screen CRT...thinking maybe Viewsonic but plan on looking around a little.

Thanks.

If you need DVD & gaming action , lower respone time is the ticket ( under 25ms is a must).
And whatever you'll chose. TEST IT first ( in the STORE) before buying it. Despide all the reviews and testing , your eyes will have the final say so.
For LCD reviews check out www.pcworld.com or www.cnet.com
When it comes to CRT ( which for gaming are still the king of the hill ) , either Sony tubes or Diamondtron ( Mitsubishi). Best apperture grill, colors, etc.

Thanks for the replies so far. I won't get around to buying anything for at least a week or so, so I haven't really thought too much about it yet.

Actually, the whole UK thing didn't quite sink in. Is that price in Euros or pounds? Geez...no wonder why it looked so low....

I'm looking for something at a good *decent* quality under $500. Is it possible?

Any opinions on this monitor?http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=24-001-119&depa=1&section=3

Is this even worth the $400, or is it fairly low quality?http://www.tigertv.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3851&Tab=2&NoMapp=0

What's the difference between these two? --

I'm sortof thinking about the ViewSonic E90FB. Any opinions?

The other monitor I'm looking at is this one.

Or this one I don't need a 21" or 22" monitor right now...it will be helpful in a few years.....but $380 for a 21" viewsonic monitor just doesn't seem right. Does anybody know anything about these two specific monitors?

Looking at the 21" and 22", it looks like the ViewSonic I have in that post isn't a flat screen. The NEC is, so I might go with that one, if I go with a 21 or 22." Otherwise, I found the flat-screen ViewSonic for only $400.
