I am having the worst time trying to install Adobe Flash on my PC. I have tried about 7 times and it just doesnt install. I followed all of the instructions on the Adobe Support site to no avail. I am getting online greeting cards and I can't view them, nor can I use my Incredimail. This just happened 2 days ago.

I have WinXP- SP2...1 Gig Mem. 250 gig HDD.

I am afraid to do a system restore because I just installed a 3.8 gig software program and I don't have enough CD's tonight to burn the program on. I would never want to install such a large file again.

I installed Macromedia Shockwave okay. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi wiskerluv,
Just a suggestion.. Flash player does not normally completely delete from you computer unless you go to flash player home page "uninstall" It has to be uninstalled completely and only flash uninstal will do this...If or when you for any reason uninstall flash player and go and re install and it says Install successfull, that is not quite correct unless you get the proper uninstall from Flash Player... I'm sorry I cant give you any more details ie the correct address to go too, but feel confident that some other more enlightened folk here can give that to you..Of course you can go to search for it yourself....
Regards.

Hi Bribiec: Thank you for your suggestion but I did use the "flash uninstaller" from Adobe and yet it still won't work. I was planning on a clean install of windows anyway, but not quite yet, as I still have a lot of programs to backup, and I mean a lot!! I don't even get the option to install flash player, as the window never even comes up. It is supposed to show a window with some kind of picture and telling me that it installed, but that never comes up. The install window doesn't even come up. You have no idea how many times I have tried this.
