Everytime I start a download using firefox it gets to small percentage say 4% and then an error message "<file Name> could not be saved, because the source file could not be read.Try again later, or contact the server administrator"

Am sure this problem is quite common but I've searched all over the internet and i've done everything from deleting compreg.dat file to deleting the download.drf file in the Mozilla profiles folder.

I also checked that the history.dat file is not set to "read-only".

I have even used system restore but am still faced with the same problem.

I read that reinstalling the program doesn't fix the problem so I haven't bothered doing that.

I also cleared my cache, used disk cleanup and CCleaner but the problem still persists..
I've even run spybot and Super antispyware to check for problems but nothing.

Am losing my mind over this. please help!!!

Thanks.
At the moment its working though. So maybe when it starts acting up again I'll work on it. I kept on using CCleaner and maybe that's what helped
