Firefox Doesn't Work Anymore?

I do not know what happened but now Firefox will not work. I have used it regularly for about 6mos then when I updated to 1.0 it just puked. I tried to uninstall and reinstall and still no luck. Once installed it just sits there and will not let me go anywhere. any suggestions?

Win xp w/SP2

See if this helps since mozilla and netscape are using the same browser engine.
