I do not know what happened but now Firefox will not work. I have used it regularly for about 6mos then when I updated to 1.0 it just puked. I tried to uninstall and reinstall and still no luck. Once installed it just sits there and will not let me go anywhere. any suggestions?

If you installed v. 1.0 over an earlier version (which it sounds like according to your post), it probably would be better to do a fresh install. Uninstall Firefox from Control Panel -Add/Remove. Go to C:/ program files and remove the Mozilla folder (if it is still there)-remove your present profile - and then reinstall v. 1.0.
To remove your profile (you must have hidden files set to show)-Click on My computer - C drive -Documents and Settings -your name -Application data-Mozilla-you can remove the Firefox folder - or you can click on it and remove the Profile folder.

I tried deletieng and reinstalling already and then again today. After uninstalling I searched for any Mozilla files and there were none on my system. But something must be there because after I reinstalled Firefox it wants to go to my old ips I can not access any thing in Firefox to change it. Why???

It worked thanks alot. I couldn't find the folder you were talking about first call me stupid. Thanks again I missed Firefox.
