Good day all!! Just got DSL service this week . I would like to take our Firefox bookmarks from our old Compaq to our new Dell.

How do I go about doing this?

On the old computer open Firefox > Bookmarks > Manage bookmarks > File > Export, export a bookmarks.html file, copy it to the new computer and Import into Firefox.

If you mean the file you copy to the new PC, you put it anywhere you want. When you Import you point Firefox to that location and it knows where to put its updated bookmarks file.

If you are asking where Firefox keeps its file, do a Search on "bookmarks" (w/o the quotes and on either machine).

You can get MozBackup and install it on both PC's. Do a backup of firefox on both PC's and then copy the backup to the other PC and do a restore.
