I recently backed up a Microsoft Access file. I formatted my domputer and reinstalled all software. I am trying to copy the file back to it's source directory. I am getting this Error messeage. (Cyclic Redundancy Check) Is there another way to copy this file to where I need.

Thanks Tim

A CRC problem means that either the original file was corrupt or the archived one is corrupt. You should always check the backup logs after you complete your backup. I think you might be out of luck.

How did you back it up?
You have to restore the file, not copy it.
Unless I'm misunderstanding the post, this should do it.

Hope it helps.
If not, you can try to restore the file to your desktop, then import it to Micro$oft Acce$$ (if there's an import selection)
