You can make an iso file for windows 10 and use it to reinstall it.

Failed reset with failed Windows 10 recovery reinstallation
So, my surface pro 3 started giving me blue screen of death errors and attempting to reboot automatically. I talked to Microsoft tech support and they gave me the instructions to make a USB recovery drive. But then, I got a new support tech and they had me do a "2 button reboot." This solved the problem for a while. But the errors started again.
Here is a list of the errors it gave me some multiple times:

PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
MEMORY_MANAGEMENT
CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED
SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION
KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE
DRIVER_CURUPT_EXPOOL
ATTEMEPTED_WRITE_TO_READONLY_MEMORY
UNEXPECTED_CURNAL_MODE_TRAP
While I have attempted to totally factory reset the thing it would error out before I could get the recovery key in. Attempting to use the recovery USB only results in an error of error codes:
0xc0000098 or 0xc0000428. The window's directions for creating a recovery USB included downloading a "recovery image" specific to the Surface Pro 3 and moving it to a USB. But the following directions for creating the recovery drive required going through the control panel and using some built in recovery drive creation process BUT this process deletes all info on the USB drive including the recovery image. I had to create the drive on my work desktop, but there is details on the page saying things like "make sure this USB is only ever used with the Surface." Well it's tremendously late for that. Even more fun, I tried accessing the Microsoft tech support instructions they sent me. It will no long allow me to attempt to download a new recovery image. And since it will not allow me to pass this step I cannot get to whatever subsequent instructions come from attempting to use the recovery image USB drive.

It gave me a blue screen with the error "Attempted to write to readonly memory" while i was installing it. It rebooted and gave me the screen as seen in the picture. I'm going to start again and see if it can go long enough to get through the installation.

Looks like u "maybe" have bad memory stick(s) inside......is it in warranty?

If it was in warranty I would have just sent it to Microsoft to fix. Since it expired in April they want $450 just to look at it. :/

When I could still get it to boot for a couple minutes before giving me a new error and auto reboot again, I tried to wipe it back to factory. It failed.
The iso thing I downloaded has a memory diagnostic tool. I'm running it now. If nothing else get more information on the problem.

Seems you will be needing to do a lot of adjustments to your computer in bios setup and other locations. I have been checking your errors and it lists a lot of things (steps) you need to do to solve this problem.
This computer is too difficult to repair and might be too expensive to repair too.

if it is infact a memory problem.....and sticks needs to be changed out,that is a job for a technician and will be very costly as mentioned
Guess what! I took my surface to a repair shop. They tried to reinstall windows with third party software. They succeeded! And immediately began getting the original errors again. They also told me that in order to make it as thin as it is the RAM is soldered in. This is apparently "motherboard level work" and they do not do work at that level and its often easier to get a new computer than repair/replace it.
So, does anyone know where I can get this high level work done? Or perhaps somewhere I could sell a broken computer/tablet for a significant sum in order to purchase a replacement?

U could try a store where they fix apple products (iPhone,iPads) it is basically the same work
Did your repair guy say it was the ram??
You could sell the surface on eBay for a reduced price outlining the issues upfront......

This computer is glued all around and it will cost you more to repair than what a new one will cost you plus you will have a new guarantee too. I would just suggest for you to buy a new computer.So, does anyone know where I can get this high level work done?
