I have a Windows XP Home Edition Computer. It is running pretty slow and im running out of memory. I want to set my computer back to factory specifications. I want to delete everything except my OS and start from scratch.
How would I do this?
Thanks

You have to delete the OS to start from scratch. Is this a store bought computer? In that I mean, did it come with the Recovery CD(s) or do you have an actual WinXP Home CD?

The best bet is to save everything you want, like documents, pictures, mp3s, and other data to a different medium. (CD/RW or ZIP Disk(s) ) Then do a format, and reload your OS from scratch.

Depending on what CD's (Recovery or XP Home) you have, depends on which way to start this process.

The link provide by Lance1 is great if you have XP Home on a CD. Does not apply to Recovery Disks
