External Hard Drive music distortion
I recently wiped my computer clean and tried transferring a bunch of music using an external hard drive, but the music comes out distorted when I play it. I know file corruption is something that happens, but I thought that was a very rare occurrence. The music still plays normally without skipping, but it just sounds very low quality with a lot of static. If anyone could shed some light on this situation I would appreciate it.

Groove Music, which is the standard player on my PC. I doubt the problem is my PC as I was playing music the same exact way through this player on this PC before I wiped the computer.what player are you using?, test the music on another machine?
Actually you were spot on, I just had issues with my driver. Re-installed them and now everything's working fine.what player are you using?, test the music on another machine?
