Hi,

explorer.exe keeps crashing on my Vista 32-bit computer. It happens when opening Computer, Network and generally any directory. When it is left for a while it will also just crash by itself.

When watching the memory usage of explorer.exe in task manager when Network is opened, it sky-rockets until it crashes.
When I used event viewer it just said under 'Information' in 'winlogon' that "the shell stopped unexpectedly and explorer.exe was restarted."

Here is my HijackThis log:

I installed ESET Smart Security (after I scanned with hijackthis) and it detected 4 viruses which will probably be in the log. Explorer.exe still crashes and I still have the remnants of the viruses e.g. all those useless temp files from the Vundo trojan.
I think I must have gotten these viruses from rogue websites :(

Thanks,

Hendrick
