Hi just got a Exploit...lol

its calllllled...... Exploit-URLSpoof.gen


anyone know how to fix it?

Ill attach a pic of the alert!


Edit: After this message went away, like 4 other messages popped up saying i had it again.....:confused:

Here is a link to Network associates that will give you instructions on how to get rid of this critter. To make sure you do get rid of it, you will first need to disable your system restore in XP, delete the file, reboot, then enable system restore.

Instuctions on disabling system restore are there as well. Don't panic, this is fixable.

Turning off system restore should not prevent you from finding the file, it will not save it again once you have deleted it. The McAfee scan I think will tell you where it lives so you can navigate to it or search for it using your search function.

And remember, there are folks here able and willing to help until you squash the bug.
