Due to the fact that my database is secured... Access won't allow me to import the data (I get a message stating I don't have the necessary permissions... It happens even when I'm still logged into the database). However, I created a back-up feature that exports certain tables to an outside database. Would it help to import those tables?

"... unsecuring the DB first"? I didn't think that was possible.

Sometime I'm not good at explaining myself... Let me start over...

When I try to "compact and repair" my secured database I get the following message:

Table 'TempMSysAccessObjects' already exists.

I checked my tables and I don't ahve a table by that name so I'm assuming that it is a table that Access (2000) creates when it 'compacts and repairs' databases.

I exported the tables to a different database as you suggested.

That is the last thing I did...

You probably do have that table. Check your Tools-Options and make sure you're viewing hidden or system objects.

Of course you should be able to unsecure a secure database... unless you don't know the correct passwords or the procedure...

Sorry. I'm getting a little lost myself. Glad you started over.
