I get a critical error while trying to start game it says :

alSource Play C:\Program Files\Prison Tycoon2\data\sound/option.wav Invailed Name.

then stops loading.

Whats wrong, any clue....

Invalid name usually means that teh filename is wrong.. it could be something really stupid like the file has been renamed or that its looking for a different type of file altogether..

i suggest you try a repair install, which should replace any "dodgy" files that have become corrupted or changed in some way. Being a beginner i cant really offer any advice other than that.

It's probably wrong because of the forward slash, but I don't get how it got there in the first place as that is an invalid file name...

"data\sound/option.wav"
