Hi there,

I'm Fouzi Rahuma, I own Patriot Computer, Window 98 SE, the problem is evry time I shut down my computer I get this error message: ( This Program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down).
My question is why I'm getting this error message, and how to get rid of this message?

Does it state what the prgram is causing the error?
Sounds like you have something loaded up that cannot shut down or crashes when you try and shutdown.

No it does not say what program that causes the error .

ok. Try loading into windows, pressing CTRL, ALT and DEL to bring up the task manager.
Here, this will show you everything currently running. End Task all programs except explorer and then try shutting down. You still get error?

PS. Give it time to close them, it sometimes takes a few moments.
