I am running Windows XP. When I boot up, my desktop icons appear but I also get a message "Error loading C:\WINDOWS\mshobatl.dll The specified module could not be found" If I click on OK it dissappears and everything seems to run smooth. It is a little annoying though, can I get rid of this somehow?
Thanks,
lapadarpa

Google shows no results for "mshobatl.dll", which about 99% of the time means your anti-malware software has removed a trojan or virus, but left behind a startup entry for it. What daz1 posted will probably stop the annoying message from popping up, but you might want to make a post over in the Malware Removal forum so you can get help to remove the startup entry from your hard drive.
