error downloading gpx files to LR

I have a Fenix 2 GPS watch. I can download my track log to BaseCamp OK. But when I try to download the GPX file to LR it gives me a "Error Loading Track Log" message. I have tried loading it directly from the GPS watch and from the track log downloaded to my desktop. Neither one will download. Any suggestions? It doesn't tell me why it won't download.
