open up the manager for the router & see if there is an area that is called "update".... Also it could just be a temporary error.

What were you trying to do at the time of the error? MSN Messenger login?

Weare just trying to sign into messenger here is the message .Sorry ,we were unable to sign you in to the msn messenger at this time. Please try again later . Error code 80072ee7. WE hae tried reinstalling everything including windows several times and cleaning the rgester. As long as there is no firewall messenger will sign in.

Windows XP, but it happened with Norton , Sygate, and at least two others. the router is woking on my computer, this happens about every three to four mounths and can't get it to stop.

ok....

Control Panel => Windows Firewall => Exceptions ...

Make sure that you have a tick next to the box that says "messenger" or something to that effect. It will vary depending on what version of MSN you have.

it could just be a problem with the MSN server... I have sometimes got this error, and then just left it for a while & then resigned in... works after a while... Try exiting MSN Messenger (right click the icon & Exit). Or try a system Restart!
