I have over 600 desktops and 30+ networked printers. I need to build a database of the network printer port ip's on each computer. I had 'help' in setting up the printers and some computers are set to the wrong port ip.
I want to do this via login script. I am familiar with but not expert on batch files, logon scripts, vb script, wmi, etc. I have searched the scripting sites and tried many suggested methods, but none do completely what I want. The closest is a batch file from Rob Vanderwold. It enumerates the printers and drivers, but I cannot get it to enumerate ports.
Has anyone written or found a batch file or vb script that will enumerate installed/configured printers across the network including the printer port IP?
