Our company just issued us with new ThinkPad T41 notebook PCs which come loaded with Intel Centrino. One of my IT guys told me they had dialed wireless access but according to another IT guy, I should still be able to do so if I have enabled the wireless connection. When I go to Control Panel --> Network Connections and then Enable the Wireless Network Connection, I get "Wireless connection unavailable" in under Status.
Is there any way for me to fix this, or has my IT department indeed done something to prevent me from making a wireless internet connection?
