Email trace from mpegs

Hi Folks

Someone sent me an mpeg movie ages ago of some holiday stuff. It was deleted. I know it's stored somewhere on my PC that I can't find, but if I go to the trouble of getting it retrieved by a forensic expert or whatever, what I want to really know is, encoded in the mpeg properties for example, can someone discover the email address from which the mpeg was sent, as that's the info I really want, seeing that I've lost touch, and that's the only crazy way I've thought of tracing his email.

Thanks

No, video's do not hold information on how they were transferred, or who sent them.

If it was deleted a long time ago and the computer has been used since then the chances of retrieving it are extremely low anyway. If it wasn't deleted then all you need to do is a search for video files on your computer using the built in Windows search, but again that won't get you the person's email address. If you saved his entire email then that would have the email address, but not a video.
