You can't really. If you check the box for leave a coopy of the message on the server you will always be able to have the same emails showing every time you log into your amil server. You could do an import of each configuration back and forth, but that would be a royal pain.

If you change from Outlook Express to an email client which will work over a LAN, you can keep all your email in one place and check it from any machine on the LAN.

I have three pc's on a LAN. One runs a proxy server. I have Netscape 4.72 on all the machines and each email client is set up to store messages in the same directory on the machine which is running the proxy server. The only problem is that only one user can access a particular mail folder at a time.

In my previous company, we used Lotus Notes as an mail client. It allows you to make replica's of your mail databases.

Best system I have ever seen for handling the situation you describe. You can even take your laptop off-line, still read all your mail and create your replies. When the laptop goes back online, just sync the replica, and the mail you prepared is sent. The sent mail even shows up on all pc's you're using.
