Not sure where to post this but i hope i can get some help here. It does have to do with my PC in a roundabout way.
I back up some of my movies on to DVD-r's and they will skip in one DVD player (JVC - not that the model matters) and it won't skip in my Magnavox. The same movies won't skip (the factory DVD) in the JVC. I believe it has been magnetized (We had a clock radio setting on top of it. and it has caused problem ever since. Has anyone ever ran into this problem? Can a DVD player be de-magnetized? It is not the movie because when i put it in a different player it doesn't skip. I have heard of other people with the same problem with their player setting next to speakers with magnets. Is the player shot or can it be fixed somehow?
