A friends computer running Windows ME will not recognise DVD'S in the drive,I have downloaded latest version of Windows Media Player,and what I think are the codecs but right clicking on my computer does not show the DVD,a check in device manager says all is well,and that the device is working ok,it will play music CD'S ok,not had much to do with playing DVD'S on computers so any helpful advice appreciated

Thanks Elvandil for the reply,I saw that thread and tried most of it but I keep getting the message...Windows cannot access the specified device,path or file,you may not have the appropriate permissions to access them, thanks for helping,take care and have a good day :p

PS He has done a lot of deleting lately and Im just wondering what he has deleted
