DVD Problem - Important Data Lost

Hi,

I recently re-formatted my PC and everything that I wanted to keep which wasn't a lot a burned onto a single DVD. Even though it wasn't a lot it was quite important.

The software told me the data had burned correctly and everything was hunky dory but I stupidly didn't check to make sure.

Now I've re-formatted my PC I go into my computer and select the drive and one folder is in there but no sub-folders with my files. If i right click on the Drive in My computer it says it's full with 3.8GB of stuff yet when I right click on the single folder in there it says no folders or files in there.

I don't know why it's doing this but it's really frustrating as some treasured photo's are on there and important work files :(

If anyone can help I'd really appreciate it :)

Thank You

You might try a program like " Isobuster" to retrieve your data. If the data was actually written to the disk you should be able to see it.
